About Factoku
Unlike Sudoku, Factoku is a logic puzzle game where you deduce hidden numbers based on row and column products. It's excellent for improving your mathematical skills. Features digit composition hints and print functionality for easy learning and sharing.
Game Rules
Basic Gameplay: 8×8 grid, deduce all cells to fill based on row and column products
Constraints:
- • Only numbers 2-9 can be filled
- • No duplicate numbers in each row and column
- • Numbers must be factors of their row and column products
Victory Condition: Fill all cells to fill while satisfying all rule constraints
Tips & Tricks
Solving Strategies
- • Start with rows/columns with small products (e.g., 8=2×4, limited choices)
- • Prime products are easiest to solve (e.g., 5, 7 have only one factorization)
- • Cross-validate: each cell must satisfy both row and column products
- • Use elimination: leverage filled numbers to exclude impossible options
